Welcome Two REU Interns!

We are thrilled to welcome two outstanding REU interns to the A.C.T. Hydro Lab this summer!

Douglas Bell Freitag, a rising senior at SUNY Brockport, will be investigating how variations in NoahMP parameters influence surface hydrologic and energy fluxes across AmeriFlux sites throughout the United States.

Nathaniel Flores, a rising junior at Williams College, will focus on identifying the climate drivers behind hydrologic changes in Alaska, with particular attention to the factors influencing shifts in runoff-to-precipitation ratios.
