Exciting coverage: AGU Advances paper featured by EOS and UB — plus KMUD interviews!

Great news — our AGU Advances paper "Toward Co‑Designed Earth System Models" is getting attention across the community. The story was highlighted by AGU EOS and the University at Buffalo news office — a really nice spotlight on co‑design work with Indigenous partners.

We were also pleased to do radio interviews: Dr. Cheng and co‑author Dr. Cleo Woelfle‑Hazard spoke with KMUD. Listen here:

This coverage is a fantastic recognition of the team's effort to make climate and hydrologic modeling more useful for local communities and tribal partners. If you missed the original paper post, read the full article here: Toward Co‑Designed Earth System Models (news post) and the journal version at https://doi.org/10.1029/2025AV001921.

Huge thanks to all collaborators and community partners — great to see this work getting picked up and used in broader conversations!
